The development of the Bachelor's degree in Creative Technology (CreaTe) in Amsterdam is in full swing. Everything is in preparation for a successful launch in 2023. The business case is as good as completed and the employee participation process will soon be set in motion.
CreaTe, a technical study programme that is accessible to every VWO pupil regardless of profile, has been a great success at the UT for years. Students there follow the Smart Technology or Interactive Media specialisations and then frequently move on to various technical master's programmes such as Interaction Technology, Data Science or Industrial Design Engineering. In Amsterdam, CreaTe will be adding a third specialisation: Humane Technology. This specialisation focuses on various current social issues such as climate, ethnicity and social differences.
